Dos Pueblos grinded out a 297-305 girls golf win over Lompoc on a windy afternoon at La Purisima Golf Course.
Julia Schniepp led the Chargers with a 52, one stroke behind medalist Pattie Matzie of Lompoc.
“The scores were higher as was expected, but I think the girls put into practice some of the strategies we had been talking about and it paid off,” DP coach Dan Choi said. “We needed all the strokes we could get as well as Lompoc played well and scored a good 15 strokes better then their last outing at La Purisima.”
Dos Pueblos is now 4-4 overall and 2-3 in Channel League play.
