The Dos Pueblos boys dominated host Santa Barbara 17-1 in a Channel League match Thursday.

Among winners, the Charger doubles teams of Kevin He/Keaton Cross and Julian Choi/Connor MacPherson lost only three games between them in sweeping six sets.

Dos Pueblos is now 3-1 in league play and 9-1 overall. After taking the next week off for the school break, the Chargers return to host Santa Ynez and San Marcos the last week of March.

Boys tennis: Santa Ynez 16, Cabrillo 2

Santa Ynez’s No. 1 doubles team of Charlie Hoose and Micah Thomas swept three sets with the loss of only one game Thursday, as the Pirates beat Cabrillo 16-2 in a Channel League match.

“We had a great time playing Cabrillo today,” Santa Ynez coach Nate Thompson said. “They have a well-coached team and their players know how to have fun on the court.”

The Pirates’ No. 2 team of Ethan Guillemin and Jace Hurnblad swept three sets with the loss of only three games. Top singles players Jacob Merrill, Noah Thompson and Luke Lockhart all went 2-0 in sets, while three substitute singles players went 2-1 in sets.

Girls beach volleyball: Santa Barbara 3, Ventura 0

The Santa Barbara girls beach volleyball team swept Ventura 3-0 Thursday at East Beach.
