Tickets are on sale now for the Solvang Theaterfest’s Music in the Garden Summer concert season, which opens with a Santa Barbara County favorite The Doublewide Kings, 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2 in the Solvang Theaterfest Lobby Garden.

The Doublewide Kings, a classic ’70s radio rock band, features locals Palmer Jackson and Cord Pereira, starting off the eight-concert series showcasing live music from a variety of genres.

Following are the bands that make up the 2024 golden anniversary lineup of concerts in the garden (all concerts are from 3-5 p.m. Sundays.)

Dirty Cello (Rock Americana): June 30
Amanda Castro Band (New Orleans Jazz): July 14
Lao Tizer Band with Eric Marienthal (Jazz Fusion): July 28
Sitara Son (Cuban Latin): Aug. 11
Storytellers (Bluegrass): Aug. 25
Refugee: Tom Petty Tribute: Sept. 1

It is suggested that patrons bring a picnic into the garden for the summer concerts. Outside beverages other than water are not allowed in for garden concerts.
