An inflatable Halloween decoration featuring a ghost, two pumpkins and a trick-or-treat sign.

Little ghouls, goblins, witches, and superheroes are invited to head downtown with their goodie bags for the Annual Downtown Santa Barbara Halloween, 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.

More than 100 downtown businesses, marked with blue “Trick-or-Treat” signs, are participating in the kid-friendly event, where wearing of costumes is encouraged.

Also on tap is the Downtown Halloween Decor Contest, where participating businesses will transform their storefronts into spooky, whimsical and creative displays.

Judging will take place Thursday, Oct. 24. Winners will be awarded prizes for the best-decorated storefronts.
