The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast (BGCMCC) opening its Campaign for Kids Fundraising Drive to support the organization’s programs and services that help to empower and enrich the lives of young people in the community.
Led by community volunteers, the campaign goal is to bring in $200,000 from April 15-June 30.
Funds raised are crucial for the summer programming months where over 600 kids will be served by all day programs at six club sites on the Central Coast, the organization said.
BGCMCC has been a key resource for local youth for a number of years. It provides a safe, positive environment where children and teenagers can develop confidence, build new skills, and connect with their peers and adult mentors.
Funds from the campaign will help ensure that BGCMCC can continue to offer a range of programs and services, including after-school programs, summer camps, and tutoring and academic support.
“We are thrilled to launch our Campaign for Kids Fundraising Drive, and are grateful for the volunteers and staff who will work tirelessly to meet our goals,” said Maria Fabula, CEO of BGCMCC.
“We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we are grateful for the support of our donors and partners in helping us make that vision a reality,” she said.
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and will make a real difference in the lives of local youth, BGCMCC said.
