One person was taken to the hospital Friday night following a rollover crash in downtown Santa Barbara.
City firefighters were dispatched shortly before 7 p.m. to the incident on the 400 block of East Figueroa Street, according to fire Battalion Chief Cory Close.
An SUV was eastbound on East Figueroa Street when it collided with several parked vehicles and overturned, Close told Noozhawk.
The SUV came to rest on its left side off the roadway, and the male driver and female passenger had to be extricated from the wreckage.
The driver was taken by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. His name and details on his injuries were not available Friday night.
The crash was under investigation by the Santa Barbara Police Department.
