A person was injured after their vehicle collided with a center divider on the southbound side of Highway 101 near Stowell Road in Santa Maria on Friday.
The accident occurred around 12:21 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital after the crash into the center guardrail, the CHP said.
The agency is investigating the cause of the single-vehicle collision.
The section of Highway 101 where the crash occurred was cleared by responding agencies and open to traffic.
