One person was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon following a single-vehicle, rollover crash on Highway 154, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

Firefighters and other emergency personnel were dispatched shortly before 5 p.m. to the incident in the westbound lanes near Painted Cave Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The woman driver, who was the sole occupant, had to be extricated from the vehicle, which ended up on its side, Safechuck said.

She was transported by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Her name and details on her condition were not available.

The crash was under investigation by the CHP.
