A motorist sustained minor injuries Wednesday in a rollover crash on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara.
The single-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on the southbound freeway at Mission Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicle veered off the right side of the highway, crashed through a fence, and came to rest on its wheels on the 1700 block of Thomas Avenue, the CHP said.
The driver was taken by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, according to Battalion Chief Jon Turner of the Santa Barbara City Fire Department.
The patient’s name and details on their condition were not available.
Due to the crash’s proximity to the railroad tracks, train traffic was slowed in the area, Turner said.
The crash was under investigation by the CHP.
