This is a roundup of all the election night results for races and propositions on the Santa Barbara County ballot. 

The County Elections Office has released semiofficial election night results, which includes 75,799 ballots (31.88% turnout from registered voters). 

Results will be updated next Tuesday, which is the deadline for vote-by-mail ballots to be delivered to the County Elections Office as long as the ballots are postmarked on or before Election Day. 

The Santa Barbara County Elections Office will certify the election results by Dec. 8.

U.S. Representative 24th District: Salud Carbajal came out far ahead of challenger Brad Allen in the race for the Congressional seat. 

State Assembly 37th District: Gregg Hart was on his way to winning the seat over Mike Stoker. 

County Board of Education Trustee Area 1: Marybeth Carty came out ahead of Rosanne Crawford wiht 78.8% of the vote. 

County Board of Education Trustee Area 5: Judy Frost had 54.4% of the vote over Gabriel A. Morales. 

City Council Seats

City of Buellton Mayor: Elysia Lewis is ahead with 50.6% of the vote over Dave King who received 48.8% of the vote. 

Buellton City Council District 1: Hudson Hornick is ahead of Tom Widroe with 56% of the vote.

Buellton City Council District 4: David Silva is well ahead of Art Mercado with 60.8% of the vote.

Carpinteria City Council District 1: Mónica Solórzano is running unopposed and had 93.5% of the vote.

Carpinteria City Council District 3: Roy Lee is running for re-election unopposed and had 87.2% of the vote. 

Carpinteria City Council District 5: Al Clark was leading over fellow councilman Gregg Carty with 56.3% of the vote to Carty’s 32.5%. Candidate Patrick O’Connor had 10.3% of the vote. 

Goleta City Council District 1: Luz Reyes-Martin was on her way to unseating longtime councilman Roger Aceves with 56% of the vote. 

Goleta City Council District 2: James Kyriaco was headed to re-election with 57.8% of the vote over challenger Sam Ramirez. 

Guadalupe Mayor: Ariston Julian ran unopposed and received 94.9% of the vote. 

Guadalupe City Council member (vote for two): Eugene Costa Jr. and Christina Hernandez ran for the two seats. 

Guadalupe Treasurer: Anna Marie Santillan Michaud ran unopposed and had 95.2% of the vote. 

Lompoc Mayor: Jenelle Osborne was defeating challenger James Mosby with 53.9% of the vote. 

Lompoc City Council District 2: Victor Vega ran unopposed and received 95.4% of the vote. 

Lompoc City Council District 3: Dirk Starbuck ran unopposed and received 96.1% of the vote. 

Santa Maria City Council District 3: Gloria Soto and Steven Funkhouser were in a close race with fewer than 100 votes separating them on Tuesday night. It will likely be too close to call until all ballots are received and counted. 

Santa Maria City Council District 4: Maribel Aguilera-Hernandez and Carol Karamitsos are also in a close race with fewer than 100 votes between them. 

Solvang Mayor: Mark L. Infanti ran unopposed and had 94.7% of the vote. 

Solvang City Council District 3: David Brown was ahead of V. Louise Smith by 11 votes in a close race, with Janice Mathews trailing in third. It will likely be too close to call until all ballots are received and counted. 

Solvang City Council District 4: Elizabeth Orona had 57.1% of the vote over Robert Clarke in election night results. 

School District Governing Board Seats

Santa Barbara Community College District Trustee Area 1: Charlotte Gullap-Moore was ahead of Debi Stoker with 61.4% of the vote. 

Santa Barbara Community College District Trustee Area 5: Incumbent Marsha Croninger was on her way to another term with 80% of the vote over Sharon Salvador-Jegottka. 

Carpinteria Unified School District Trustee Area 1: Eric Bridgford had 66.2% of the vote over Nuh “La Verdad/The Truth” Kimbwala. 

Lompoc Unified School District short-term at large: Nancy Schuler-Jones was leading the pack in election night results, ahead of Bree Valla, Jerri Thiel, Joshua Zebley, Kathy Howard and John Galisky.

Santa Barbara Unified School District Trustee Area 1: Gabe Escobedo was ahead with 56% of the vote in a three-person race, leading Efigenia Banales and Dan La Berge. 

Santa Barbara Unified School District Trustee Area 4: Rose Munoz won re-election with 81.4% of the vote over Phebe Mansur. 

Santa Maria Joint Union High School District Trustee Area 4: Diana Perez had 65% of the vote over Raymond Acosta. 

Santa Maria Joint Union High School District Trustee Area 5: David E. Baskett was leading with 51% of the vote over Dominick Palera. 

Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District short term: Anna Schryer was ahead of Lee Rosenberg and Christopher F. Johnson. 

Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District Trustee Area 2: Sheri Noble had 59.2% of the vote over Denise J. El Amin. 

Cold Spring School District (vote for three): Jennifer Miller, Michael Marino and Elke Kane were on their way to winning seats over Erika Paredes Kellis. 

College School District Trustee Area 5: Peter Wright was leading Colleen Estrada with 59.9% of the vote. 

Goleta Union School District Trustee Area 1: Longtime incumbent Richard Mayer easily held onto his seat Tuesday with 59% of the vote over Caroline Abate. 

Goleta Union School District Trustee Area 3: Emily Zacarias came out first with 61% of the vote in the three-person race over Christy Lozano and Bert Haley. 

Guadalupe Union School District Trustee Area 3: Lourdes Ramirez had 54% of the vote over Raul Rodriguez Jr.

Hope School District Trustee Area 5: Frann Wageneck had 58.1% of the vote over Dani Blunk. 

Santa Maria-Bonita School District Trustee Area 2: Ricky Lara was ahead with 54.7% of the vote over Osvaldo Sotelo. 

Santa Barbara County Ballot Measures

Local voters approved most of the school bonds, tax increases and other measure on the Tuesday ballot.

State Propositions

The Secretary of State’s Office reports that voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional amendment for reproductive freedom, additional arts and music education for K-12 schools, and a ban on flavored tobacco sales.

Voters shot down both gambling-related initiatives, which spent record-setting amounts of money for the campaigns.

Goleta Water District District: Kathleen Werner was ahead over Greg S. Hammel. 

Isla Vista Recreation and Park District (vote for two): Brendan Hutchinson and Thea Neushul were ahead over Heidi Diaz and Scott Gerald Ball. 

Isla Vista Community Services District two-year term: Olivia Craig was ahead over Enrique Jose Sarria. 

Isla Vista Community Services District (vote for 2): Spencer Brandt and Jay Freeman were leading over Julia Barbosa. 

Los Alamos Community Services District short term: Charles Gonzales was ahead over Kristy Gnesa-Williams. 

Los Olivos Community Services District (vote for three): Lisa Bertero Palmer, Greg Parks and Julie Kennedy were ahead over Thomas A. Nelson. 

Los Olivos Community Services District short term: Brad Ross was ahead of Jeanne Hollingsworth. 

Montecito Fire Protection District (vote for 2): Peter Van Duinwyk and Stephen Dougherty were ahead over Susan Keller. 

Santa Maria Public Airport District Div 2: Ignacio “Nash” Moreno was ahead over Hugh Rafferty. 

Santa Maria Public Airport District Div 4: Michael B. Clayton was ahead over Carl Engel.
