The 82nd Annual Elks Rodeo and Parade is just around the corner, and local nonprofit organizations are gearing up for this year’s Elks Rodeo Queen Contest.
Four organizations are currently committed to blanketing the community with fundraisers for youth recreation programs in conjunction with the Annual Elks Rodeo Queen Contest, which will culminate with Queen Coronation, Friday, May 30.
The following groups are participating:
- Children’s Resource and Referral
- Kiwanis Club of Guadalupe
- St. Joseph High School
- Saints Football Boosters
The 2025 Elks Rodeo Queen candidates will celebrate the kickoff of their campaigns, Saturday, April 5 at the tradition of the Queen Kickoff and Auction Dinner at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge, 1309 N. Bradley Road.
The Queen Kickoff Dinner and Auction marks the official start of the 2025 Elks Rodeo season. As one of the most beloved traditions associated with the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo, the Queen Contest has raised and distributed over $15 million to the community’s youth recreation programs since its inception.
Doors for the kickoff event open at 5 p.m. for no host cocktails. A traditional Santa Maria-style meal prepared by the Elks BBQ Team will be served at 6 p.m., followed by a live auction of unique items and opportunities. The event will also feature a silent and dessert auction.
Tickets are $40 and are available at the Elks Recreation, Inc. Office, 2325 Skyway Drive, Ste. H, Santa Maria, or by calling 805-925-4125 or emailing elksrec.com.
