Flamenco Arts Festival presents its signature GALA Evening at the Lobero Theatre — Siudy Garrido Flamenco Company – Flamenco Suite, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.
The event opens at 6 p.m. with a complimentary pre-concert reception on the Lobero Esplanade, featuring live music by Tony Ybarra and wine by RZN before theater doors open at 7 p.m.
The GALA evening continues at 7:30 p.m., when audiences will hear the live West Coast premiere of Siudy Garrido Flamenco Company in Flamenco Suite at the Lobero.
Created by Latin Grammy-nominated choreographer Garrido, the production explores the roots of flamenco through traditional forms including Seguirillas, Alegrías, Caña and Soleá, while blending tradition with a contemporary artistic vision.
Performed by a company of dancers and musicians, the production showcases the passion, elegance, and innovation that have made the company internationally recognized, organizers said.
Immediately following the GALA performance, VIP ticket holders are invited to the exclusive VIP GALA After-Party in the Lobero Courtyard. Guests are invited to celebrate the evening with artists, sponsors, and members of the flamenco community in a post-performance setting, featuring Spanish cuisine by Chef Roger Navas-Balladares and complimentary wine by RZN.

Prices are $152 for VIP seating (includes premium seating and VIP Gala After Party in the Lobero Courtyard following show); $112 – Section A; $92 – Section B; $72 – Section C; $52 – Section D.

Tickets bought online or by phone are subject to a web/phone order fee of $3 per ticket. To avoid this fee, tickets can be purchased in person at the box office.
