Saint Mary’s golfer Ethan Ashbrook held the lead after shooting a 1-under par 69 in the second round of the Santa Barbara City Golf Championships on Sunday at the Santa Barbara Golf Club.

Patton fired a 65 after an even-par 70 on Saturday for a 135. The former Dos Pueblos, SBCC and UCSB golfer made five birdies on the back nine.
In third place, is former Cal Poly standout Grady Smith at even-par 140. Smith shot a 69 in the second round.
Santa Barbara’s Jack Perry, the 2019 champion, carded a 2-under 68 and stands in fourth place at 1-over 141.
