Motorists traveling in each direction of Highway 101 between Olive Mill Road and San Ysidro Road in Montecito will experience 10-minute intermittent traffic breaks, 6-10 a.m. Sunday, July 26.
 
The intermittent traffic breaks are necessary to allow a tele-communications company to move aerial/overhead cables across the highway for installation on nearby poles. The California Highway Patrol (Caltrans) will be present to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
 
The work will be performed by Fiber Tel Communications, under permit from Caltrans.
