Scent From Heaven
Question: What motivated you to start this health and wellness business, and what inspired the specific services or products you offer?
Answer: The base of my holistic health practice has been nutritional counseling. It began over 30 years ago when I went to a holistic nutritionist in the Boston area for my own health challenges. After making major changes in my food choices, I noticed dramatic results in my overall health. That spurred me on to studying and then working with clients.
Over the years, I added services to my practice that deeply resonated with me and were of benefit to my clients. I’m certified in nutritional counseling, clinical guided imagery, aromatherapy, energy work, raw foods and sound healing. I also did a deep study of the work of Anthony William, author of the Medical Medium book series. Before this practice, I was a special education teacher, working with elementary schools and on the graduate school level.
Q: Can you provide an overview of the unique value proposition of your business and how it distinguishes itself in the crowded wellness market?

A: I am grounded in extensive training, education and experience. I have worked and studied, coast to coast with some of the brightest and best holistic doctors. I have worked in medical clinics as well as having my own holistic healing center in Massachusetts. With the addition of sound healing with crystal singing bowls, I have deepened and enhanced my practice beyond what I have offered in the past, making my offerings more unique and effective. There is a spiritual, intuitive connection with all that I do, both in classes and with private clients.
Q: How do you ensure that your services or products align with current health trends and consumer needs?
A: I am continually studying and researching current needs. I do my best to avoid trends, focusing instead on what is true and valued.
Q: What strategies do you employ to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across your offerings?
A: Integrity and quality are foundational values at Scent From Heaven. I continually access our offerings to be exceptional.
Q: How do you approach customer feedback and incorporate it into improving your business?
A: I encourage and welcome feedback from my clients and students, always striving to improve the offerings at Scent From Heaven.
Q: What role do partnerships or collaborations play in your business strategy, and how do you select potential partners that align with your brand values?
A: I collaborate with people and places that hold my values of well being, education, service, integrity and quality with a spiritual consciousness.

Q: How do you prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility in your business operations and product offerings?
A: At Scent From Heaven we hold a deep reverence for the earth with gratitude for all beings, including plants and animals. We both teach and model sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Q: Can you discuss any plans for expansion or diversification of your health and wellness business in the future?
A: Sound healing with crystal singing bowls is an integral part of everything that I offer now. People are asking for access to more, wanting to see and hear sessions on social media and to be able to purchase videos through my website. I have plans to expand into videos and more private venues, both virtually and locally. I think one of the gifts of the pandemic years was the connection through Zoom. Through virtual offerings, I would like to have more of a global outreach.
Q: How do you envision your business evolving to meet the changing needs and preferences of consumers in the health and wellness industry?
A: The offerings at Scent From Heaven have always been based in educational classes as well as working with private clients. What we offer through those avenues has grown and changed with the times and will continue to do so in the future. I envision sound healing becoming more of a focus as it becomes more widely known, received and recognized.
Q: Finally, what do you believe sets your health and wellness business apart from competitors, and how do you maintain a competitive edge in the market?
A: I believe that we are all needed in the field of health and wellness therefore I don’t compete with anyone. I trust that the people who need what we offer at Scent From Heaven will find us.
