Figueroa Mountain campground and other recreation areas are still closed to the public because of Lake Fire damage, according to Los Padres National Forest.
The agency released a new closure order on Friday for the Santa Lucia Ranger District in Santa Barbara County. Scroll down to view the closure order map.
Last month’s Lake Fire burned 38,664 acres in the eastern Santa Ynez Valley and was fully contained Aug. 5.
Popular campground areas were mostly spared from the fire (including Figueroa), but still had burned vegetation and minor damage reported. There were a lot of burned trees along roadways as well.

Hiking trails, day use spots and campgrounds in the Figueroa Mountain Recreation Area are currently closed.
That includes: Figueroa Campground, Pino Alto Picnic Area, Figueroa Lookout and Cumbre Day Use, and the access road to those areas.
Zaca Ridge Road/Catway Road is closed, and all OHV roads/trails are closed.
All trails in the Figueroa Mountain Recreation Area are closed: Davy Brown Trail, La Jolla Trail, White Rock Trail, Munch trail, Willow Springs and Midland School hiking trails.
Happy Canyon Road and Sunset Valley Road are open to Davy Brown and Nira campgrounds, but both campgrounds are temporarily closed until further notice, Los Padres National Forest officials said.
While the Manzana Creek trail is open, several backpacking trail camps are closed, including Potrero, Coldwater and Horseshoe Bend.
