With the drought we might expect a bad year for wildflowers on Figueroa Mountain, but there are still good sights to be seen. Helen Tarbet of the Forest Service invites the public to a tour on Saturday, March 28. The group will meet at the Figueroa Ranger Station at 9 a.m. and it will last three to four hours. It will mostly be a “drive and stroll,” but participants are asked to wear comfortable shoes and a jacket, a hat and sunscreen and bring lunch and plenty of water.
