Firefighters responded late Sunday night to a fire at the Pea Soup Andersen’s Restaurant in Buellton.

A full structure fire response was dispatched at about 11:40 p.m. to the fire at 376 Avenue of Flags, according to Capt. Scott Safechuck of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

A passerby spotted flames on the southwest corner roof and called 9-1-1, Safechuck said.

The fire was confined to the exterior of the roof, he added, and was knocked down in about 15 minutes. There was no damage to the hotel, Safechuck said.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Cause of the fire was under investigation.
