Firefighters responded Monday to a vegetation fire burning in the Jonata Park area of Buellton.

The blaze, which blackened about 5 acres, was reported shortly after 11:30 a.m. along Jonata Park Road, according to Engineer Mike Gray of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

Crews from county and the U.S. Forest Service responded to the blaze.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported, Gray said.

Helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft also responded to the fire, which remained under investigation.
