Dos Pueblos, San Marcos, Santa Barbara, Laguna Blanca and Providence will play in the inaugural CIF-SS girls beach volleyball playoffs.
They are among the 67 teams to compete in two divisions.
Dos Pueblos, San Marcos and Santa Barbara are in Division 1. The Channel League-champion Chargers (15-1) will host a first-round match on Thursday against the winner of a wild-card match between San Clemente and Harvard Westlake.
San Marcos (17-2) travels to Aliso Niguel (11-3, South Coast No. 1) on Thursday.
Santa Barbara (Channel No. 3) plays a Tuesday wild-card match at Santa Margarita (Trinity No. 3). The winner draws Newport Harbor on Thursday.
In Division 2, Laguna Blanca (Tri-Valley No. 2) and Providence (TVL No. 3) will host wild-card matches on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Laguna plays Wiseburn DaVinci (Pioneer No. 4) while Providence takes on Thousand Oaks (Marmonte 3).
The first-round matches are on Thursday.
The second round is on Saturday, April 29, the quarterfinals on May 2, and the semifinals and championships in both divisions will be played May 6 at LBCC.
