The Flight Academy Volleyball 17 and 16 Maverick girls team captured JVA West Coast Cup championships last weekend in Long Beach.
Both the Flight Academy squads went a dominant 8-0 to earn their titles, while the 15 Phoenix team brought home a second-day finish.
The teams are made up of players from Righetti, Santa Ynez, Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Paso Robles, Mission Prep and Santa Barbara.
The Flight Academy 17 Maverick girls squad consists of Georgia Brough, Sofia Fuerte-Treviño, Jacey George, Lucy Gibson, London Hartford, Scotty Losson, Ava Martinez, Ivy Moyer, Lolayna Redmond, Chloe Savidan, Cali Scholl and Cora Shady.
The team is coached by Manny Carter and Abbie Lium.
The Flight Academy 16 Maverick girls team includes Blake Burnett, Malia Okimoto, Sophia Graham, Quinzi Stowe, Eden Green, Jordan Hamilton, Raina Snekvik, Taylor Conde, Ava Brown, Audra Smith, Emma Corrigan and Reese Weisenberg.
The team is coached by Caleb Ferguson, Lyndsey Weisenberg and Ella Hartford.
