The Santa Barbara Foresters were held to five hits and lost a 4-2 decision against the MLB Academy Barons in a California Collegieate League baseball game in Compton on Tuesday.

The Barons broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning on a balk call against Forester pitcher Peyton Cole with a runner at third base.

The Barons scored two in the seventh against Scott Ellis on a RBI single and a bases-loaded walk.

Santa Barbara got a run back in the eighth on a RBI single from new arrival Tanner O’Tremba of the University of Arizona.

The Foresters (4-2 in the CCL and 8-2 overall) travel to Irvine on Wednesday to play the OC Riptide.
