Max Belyeu and Nathen Voss each drove in three runs and Will Rogers went 3-for-3 with a RBI, powering the Santa Barbara Foresters to a 12-3 win over the Arroyo Seco Saints in a California Collegiate League on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
The Foresters (2-1) banged out 15 hits in the game, including a triple and a double by Voss. The team ran wild on the base paths, stealing eight bags.
Daniel Patterson, Belyeu, Voss and Michael Lombardi each had two hits, and Lombardi drove in a pair of runs. Ryan Black and Rogers scored three runs apiece and Greg Pace scored twice.
Santa Barbara broke a 2-2 tied with three runs in the third inning. Voss hit a two-run double and P.K. Walsh drove in Voss with a single.
The Foresters added single runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth and erupted for four runs in the ninth to seal the win.
Sean Youngerman, the fifth Forester pitcher, had another strong outing in closing out the game. He struck out five in two innings of work.
The Foresters will host the Saints on Thursday at Pershing Park at 6 p.m.
