When a team wins a national championship, fans, friends, and family want to celebrate!
Thanks to a dedicated group of those Santa Barbara Foresters supporters, the 2021 national championship baseball team will be honored on Saturday, Sept. 4 at the Carriage Museum at Pershing Park (129 Castillo St.).
Open to the public, the event will honor a team that won its all-time record ninth national title this year, and capped the season with a team-record 21-game winning streak.
“We were so thrilled to see the success of this great team, that we just had to throw them a party,” said Dave Pintard, one of the organizers of the big event, and the brother of Foresters manager Bill Pintard. “We hope fans come together to congratulate the players, coaches, and volunteers for their hard work.”
Attendees will hear from manager Bill Pintard about the great season, enjoy music and entertainment, dig into tasty barbecue, and raise a little money for the Foresters and Hugs for Cubs. Dance to the band Out of the Blue, watch the La Boheme Dancers, and have your photo taken with the 2021 NBC World Series trophy! The party starts at 3 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m. at the Carriage Museum.
Tickets are $30 and will be sold at the door, no need to RSVP.
