The Santa Barbara Foresters unloaded on the pitchers of the Academy Barons and rolled to a 15-2 win on Sunday at Pershing Park.

Santa Barbara pounded 18 hits and scored runs in the first five innings. The Foresters led 13-0 after the fifth.

Ryan Cash, Christian Franklin and Blake Hall each had three hits, and Hall had three RBI, while Franklin drove in two runs. Zach Presno homered, tripled and had three RBI, and Nick Bellafronto also homered and added a double. 

Jacob Katzfey had a two-run single and drove in another run with a fielder’s choice.

The Foresters, 27-9, 25-8 in the CCL, play their final league game at the Arroyo Seco Saints on Tuesday and play their final regular season game at Pershing Park on Wednesday against the Santa Barbara Grizzlies.
