The Santa Barbara Foresters won their fourth straight game on Thursday with a 7-3 win over the Arroyo Seco Saints on Wednesday in Pasadena.

A pair of home runs paced the Forester offense while Peyton Tolle turned in a solid outing on the bump en route to the victory.

Tolle (1-1) picked up his first win of the summer, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out four in five innings of work.

After a scoreless first inning, Santa Barbara’s offense woke up with two runs in both the second and third innings to jump out to a 4-0 lead.

In the second, an RBI double by Nate Rombach drove in Tanner O’Tremba to open up the scoring, which was followed up by an RBI groundout off the bat of Gianni Horvat to take the 2-0 advantage.

Gavin Kash kept the offense rolling with his team-leading fifth homer of the season in the third inning, a two-run shot, to bring the lead to 4-0.

The offense continued to back up Tolle’s solid outing with a run in the fourth thanks to an RBI single from Horvat that scored Rombach and made the game 5-0.

The Saints picked up runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings, but it wasn’t enough to dig themselves out of the early deficit.

Santa Barbara tacked on a run in the seventh with an RBI sacrifice fly and a solo homer of the bat of Rombach closed the scoring in the eighth at 7-3.

After Tolle left the game, Jake Faherty and Nick Griffin combined for eight strikeouts, four apiece, in the final four innings.

The Foresters (18-10) will return home for a rematch with Arroyo Seco on Thursday at Pershing Park at 6 p.m.
