Firefighters were able to quickly corral a vegetation fire that broke out in Santa Ynez Saturday afternoon, according to Santa Barbara County Fire Department Capt. Mike Gray.
Emergency crews first responded to the 1500 block of Meadowvale Road for a report of a 1-acre fire, with a potential for two acres.
The official size of the fire has not yet been released, Gray said.
