In advance of St Patrick’s Day, Downtown Santa Barbara is hosting free Irish dance classes for all ages and abilities, 7:30-9 p.m. Thursdays in front of Night Lizard Brewing Company, 607 State St.
Participants will join world champion dancer Alanna Callaghan of Firedance Academy for 90 minutes of movement and dance. No prior experience is necessary; just bring your enthusiasm.
In the classes, dancers will:
Learn basic steps and moves in the fundamentals of Irish dance.
Experience the community spirit: Meet new people, and feel the energy of dancing together under the lights of State Street.
No registration is required, just show up.
