AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free federal and California income tax preparation to low- and moderate-income taxpayers. The focus is on assisting seniors, but taxpayers of all ages are welcome.

Tax returns will be prepared in person 1-3:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays afternoons Feb. 3-April 14 at the American Legion Wing, Solvang Veterans Hall, 1745 Mission Drive, by volunteers who are certified by the IRS.
 
Tax clients need to bring last year’s (2023) tax returns, all 2024 documents from the IRS, California Franchise Tax Board and Social Security Administration, Social Security cards, a voided check for direct bank deposit/debit, and photo ids.
