It’s coming down to the home stretch for local football teams to win league championships and secure CIF playoff spots.

After its historic win at Lompoc last week, Santa Barbara returns to Huyck Stadium to play Cabrillo with a chance to clinch a tie for the Channel League title.

Dos Pueblos and Santa Ynez square off in a key Channel League that has playoff implications. The Chargers are tied for second place with Lompoc at 2-1. The Pirates, at 1-2, need a win to stay in the hunt for a postseason berth.

San Marcos, 1-2 in league, looks to keep its playoff hopes alive in a home game against Lompoc.

Bishop Diego can help its playoff chances with a Camino League win at Moorpark.

Here is look at Friday’s games:

Santa Barbara (6-2, 3-0, No. 4 in Div. 8) at Cabrillo (0-8, 0-3), 7 p.m. — The Dons will be looking to pick up where they left off at Huyck Stadium against a Cabrillo team that has struggled this season. The Pick: Santa Barbara.

Lompoc (5-3, 2-1, No. 9 in Div. 5) at San Marcos (3-5, 1-2), 7 p.m. — The Royals had trouble stopping the run against Dos Pueblos last week. Lompoc’s strength is its running game. The Pick: Lompoc

Santa Ynez (3-5, 1-2) at Dos Pueblos (2-6, 2-1), 7 p.m. — This figures to be a tight game. Santa Ynez is getting key players back from injury. The Pirates will face an improved Dos Pueblos defense and offensive line. Udy Loza and Conner Lee are running well and quarterback Trey Jones did a nice job managing the game in the 14-12 crosstown win over San Marcos. The Pick: Dos Pueblos

Bishop Diego (3-5, 0-2) at Moorpark (2-6, 1-2), 7 p.m. (Radio: AM 1290)— Both teams have played demanding schedules. The injury-riddled Cardinals, losers of four straight, can use a big game from senior Adrian Soracco and their defense in this Camino League clash. Moorpark relies on dual-threat quarterback Blake Sturgill. The Pick: Moorpark

Carpinteria (1-7) vs. Viewpoint (3-5), at Calabasas High, 7 p.m. — The depleted Warriors have struggled to keep pace with their opponents in the second half of their last three games. The Pick: Viewpoint
