Alpha Resource Center will host its 70th Anniversary Gala – Platinum Jubilee, 5-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Alpha Resource Center, 4501 Cathedral Oaks Road, Santa Barbara.
Funds raised will go toward Alpha’s mission of empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Santa Barbara County by supporting families, creating opportunities, and fostering belonging.
The gala will honor supporters Edgar and Angela Russell, and 33-year Alpha Team member Patty Moore. Honorary event chairs are Jim and Chana Jackson.
The celebration will highlight Alpha’s transformation and growth over the 70 years since its founding. Attendees will hear about the success stories showing how participants and their families have been impacted by the work of Alpha Resource Center.
Food and drinks will be available and there will be live and silent auctions.
