The Downtown Santa Barbara Improvement Association (DSBIA) invites residents and visitors to participate in free West Coast Swing dance nights every Wednesday in June on State Street.

Hosted by Serenity Swing, Westie Wednesdays On State will be held in front of Night Lizard Brewing Company, 607 State St., and welcomes dancers of all experience levels.

Each evening begins with a free beginner lesson taught by Bryan Gin and Kristen Rhodes, 6-7 p.m., followed by open social dancing, 7-8 p.m.

The dancing continues from 8 p.m. on inside Night Lizard, which is sponsoring the event alongside Cuso’s Creamery.
