The Santa Ynez Valley Family School invites local families Einstein Day 2026, a free, hands-on community event sparking imagination, curiosity, and creativity for all ages, 10 a.m.-noon March 21 at 5300 Figueroa Mountain Road, Los Olivos.

Visitors can explore activity booths with creative projects, science experiments, interactive fun and face painting.

“Einstein Day is all about bringing families together and igniting a love of learning,” said Julianne Tullis Thompson, head of school. “We want science and art to be exciting, hands-on, and open to everyone. This event is a wonderful chance for kids to explore, get curious, and connect with our community.”

Participating partners include Allan Hancock College, Santa Ynez Valley Historical Museum, Dunn School, Midland School, California State Parks, Camp Ocean Pines, Arts Outreach, Therapy Dogs of America, Wolfe Family Farms, ASAP Cats, Santa Ynez Valley Botanic Garden, Santa Ynez Chumash Museum, Mad Science, and Parties and Paint by Kate.

Food will be available for purchase from Keka’s Food Truck, serving Mexican kekas, tacos and burritos; and Tubby Cravings, offering comfort food; beverages from Haven & Ink Coffee Cart; and sweet treats at the $2 Bake Sale.
