The city of Goleta invites local residents to its next free Coffee and Community/Café y Comunidad event, 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at SloDoCo, 290A Storke Road.

Attendees can meet with Mayor Paula Perotte, Mayor Pro Tempore Stuart Kasdin (District 4), and Goleta city staff members while enjoying a cup of hot coffee and a doughnut (SloCoDo has more than 100 donut options).

The family-friendly event offers a chance to ask questions about issues impacting the local neighborhood in a casual setting while supporting a Goleta business. The event will provide Spanish interpretation.


SloCoDo, which opened in Goleta in 2024 and also has locations in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.

The city holds Coffee and Community events throughout the year in each of the four districts.
