Tickets are on sale for the 9th Annual Yummie Top Chef Dinner, hosted by the Cassar Family, Friday May 13 at Rancho De Las Palmas in Moorpark.

Previously, the dinner has been held the Friday before Casa Pacifica’s Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival at CSU Channel Islands, which is slated for Sunday, June 5 this year.

All proceeds from both events benefit Casa Pacifica’s mental health programs and services for foster and at-risk youth and their families.

The Top Chef Dinner’s seven-course meal will be created by winning chefs from the festival’s Yummie Culinary Competition. Dinner tickets and sponsorships are available at cpwinefoodbrewfest.com.

Several chefs are already signed on for the dinner, including some of the most recent Yummie Culinary Competition winners from 2021: first-place winner Chef Alex Montoya of Water’s Edge, Waterside & Honey Cup; second-place winner Chef Julia San Bartolome of Sweet Arleen’s; and third-place winners Chef Oscar Ledesma of Limon y Sal and Lisa Morris of LiMor Cakes.

Also joining the chefs lineup are former three-time winner Chef Alex Castillo; and past winner-turned-Yummie-Culinary-Competition-Judge Chef Nic Manocchio of University Auxiliary Services, CSU Channel Islands.

The dinner will include a wine pairing by Opolo Vineyards, along with other wineries, as well as the 2022 Best in Fest Brew, to be crowned in April.

Joining the Yummie Top Chef Dinner hosts the Cassar Family are Epicurean Sponsor: Tim Bradley; Master Sommelier Sponsors: Coast General Insurance Brokers, Masako & Kevin Nunn, and S.L. Leonard & Associates.
