Gina Lurene Aceves (1963-2026) passed away peacefully in the comfort and loving presence of her family in Santa Barbara.

Gina was born in Santa Barbara, and spent her childhood between Santa Barbara and Fort Worth, Texas. Gina spent most of her adult life and had her children in Santa Barbara.

Gina was an inspiration and a source of strength and support to so many. She was deeply loved by her lifelong friends, family, and all those whose lives she touched.

She found great joy in caring for others, especially her grandchildren, and devoted herself to helping numerous homebound individuals as a private caregiver.

Gina had a passion for music, playing cards, dancing and, most of all, being surrounded by the people she loved and cared for.

Her generous heart, warm spirit, and unwavering friendship will be deeply missed, as will her direct opinions and sense of humor.

Gina is survived by her daughters Holly (Aaron), and Christen; mother Janice; brothers Paul (Beth), Robert (Marilyn), Steven (Greg), and Jeff; sister Michell Foster (Charlie); and granddaughters Maddy, Hannah and Evelyn; along with many extended family members and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sister Kimberly.

Gina leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, compassion, friendship and care. She will remain forever in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
