The Royals shot a 271 as a team, while the Bulldogs combined for a score of 296 on the par-36 course.

“It was nice to finish the week off with a win at home,” San Marcos head coach Sarah Ashton said. “With two matches on the road earlier, this was a long week for the girls, so I was impressed with their ability to stay focused today.”

The SM duo of Chloe Bellamy and Mia Rocha tied for medalist honors alongside Buena’s Paige Olson, as all three golfers shot a 47.

The other Royal golfers were Simrin Singh (51), Hadley Schmidt (62) and Karenna Saleh (64).

“We again relied on strong play from our three returning starters, Mia, Chloe and Simrin,” Ashton said. “Our newer teammates are committed to improving and playing with good focus.”
