The Royals (13-3, 6-0 Channel League) will now take on crosstown foe Dos Pueblos (8-7, 6-1 CL) on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Warkentin Stadium with a chance to clinch an outright Channel League title.

“Needless to say, we are all looking forward to Thursday now,” San Marcos head coach Paul Ramsey said.

As for Cate, Lauren Hubbs scored a team-high three goals and Chelsea Newlove ended the night with six saves.
