Explore Ecology will hold its monthly Beach Cleanup at Santa Barbara’s Arroyo Burro Beach (Hendry’s Beach), Sunday, Nov. 9. Volunteers should meet at 10 a.m. at the Watershed Resource Center to sign in and pick up cleanup supplies. The event runs until noon.

As a thank you for volunteering, participants will receive a coupon for a free cup of chowder from Santa Barbara Shellfish Co.

While at the Watershed Resource Center, visitors can learn simple actions they can take to keep local creeks and watersheds healthy and clean.

No RSVP is needed; just show up. Community service hours are available for volunteers.
