The Goleta Valley South Little League 10-Under All Stars eliminated Montalvo, 19-4, in a District 63 Tournament game on Monday night in Santa Paula.
Jameson Wrenn, Joseph Demmin, Teo Patterson and Adrian Sanchez collected hits during a four-run first inning to get GVSLL going.
The team erupted for 10 runs in the second inning. Carter Millington, Jackson Loman, Dean Boyatt, Everett Streeton and Aiden Herrera all had RBI hits in the inning.
Jackson Murdock ignted a five-run outburst in the third inning.
Montalvo scored four runs in the bottom of third before Loman came in to pitch and retire the next three batters.
The game ended after three innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.
Goleta Valley South will face Ventura Coastal Little League on Thursday at the Santa Paula Little League Field.
The GVSLL 10U All-Star team includes Dean Boyatt, Alex Buckwalter, Joseph Demmin, Aiden Herrera, Judah Hooper, Luke Larkin, Jackson Loman, Carter Millington, Jackson Murdock, Teo Patterson, Adrian Sanchez, Everett Streeton, Brecken Wilcher, and Jameson Wrenn. The team is managed by Jesse Landeros, with assistance from Ken Loman and Adam Herrera along with support from Billy Wrenn, Daniel Hooper, and junior support from Asher Streeton.
