The Grace Fisher Foundation has announced the opening of its latest art exhibit Imagination: Beyond Limitations at the MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation, in Santa Barbara.
The exhibit will be on display through September, showcasing artworks that celebrate creativity, community, and the triumph of the human spirit.
Featured artists include Grace Fisher and community youth participation murals.
Imagination: Beyond Limitations is a collection of mouth paintings created by Grace Fisher, an award-winning painter and composer, along with contributions from members of the community.
Fisher, a quadriplegic, has mastered the art of painting using only her mouth. Her work, alongside the pieces created by community members who embraced this technique out of exploration, exemplifies the power of determination and the beauty of artistic expression.
The Grace Fisher Foundation, established in her name, works to promote inclusive art and music programs that empower individuals and build stronger communities at the Inclusive Arts Clubhouse in La Cumbre Plaza.
Imagination: Beyond Limitations invites visitors to experience the impact of connection, understanding, and personal growth.
