Santa Barbara music lovers are in for a rare treat this winter as the Grammy Award–winning vocal jazz group New York Voices brings its acclaimed harmonies to the South Coast for a special one-night-only performance.
The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Elings Performing Arts Center on the Dos Pueblos High School campus, at 7266 Alameda Ave. in Goleta.
Often compared to The Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices has been performing around the world for 38 years, earning international acclaim for its sophisticated vocal jazz, lush harmonies and smooth, expressive sound.
This Santa Barbara appearance is especially significant, as the group is retiring at the end of 2026, making this part of its final West Coast tour.
The Santa Barbara stop came about thanks to a bold invitation from Courtney Anderson-Georges, vocal music instructor at Dos Pueblos High, who credits New York Voices as one of the most influential forces in her own musical journey.
When she learned the group would be performing in Los Angeles and San Francisco, she reached out directly and invited them to add Santa Barbara to the tour schedule — and they said yes.
Tickets for the concert are $35, a notable value compared with major-city performances, where tickets typically cost significantly more.
The evening will also feature a performance by the Dos Pueblos High School Jazz Choir, showcasing the exceptional talent of local student musicians.

This is a rare opportunity for the Santa Barbara community to experience one of the world’s premier vocal jazz ensembles live — and to celebrate music, mentorship and harmony at its finest.
