Dos Pueblos junior Grant Hughes had seven kills, three blocks and three digs to lead a balanced the deep Charger team to a 25-9, 25-15, 25-12 Channel League sweep of Cabrillo at home Thursday.
Troy Fitzgerald and Micah Goss had five kills each and Kyvon Reeder and Nate Gotsis had four each for the Chargers.
Parker Randolph had six digs and three aces. Fitzgerald added two aces and two digs and Gotsis two aces.
“It was a great night for the team, as we saw everyone step on the court and contribute to a solid win,” Charger coach Ehren Hug said.
Dos Pueblos finished the first round of Channel League play at 2-2. The Chargers are 7-4 overall. They play Friday at home against Arroyo Grande.
