Setter Halle Rillie ran a balanced attack, and the Dos Pueblos girls volleyball team bounced back from a season-opening home loss with a sweep at Calabasas on Wednesday.
Rillie dished out 22 assists in a 25-15, 25-13, 25-21 non-league win.
“Our middles were incredible for us tonight and Halle did an amazing job spreading our offense and getting everyone involved,” said coach Megan O’Carroll.
Middle Addie Low led the attack with eight kills, Sonia Mancuso and Grace Posse each had six and Jayden Jones added five kills.
Anelle Priebe-Garcia led a potent serving game with seven aces, Jones and Atasha Black each serve four aces and Rillie had two.
Rillie, Black and Mancuso each picked up six digs to pace the defense.
“Coming off of a loss last night, I’m super proud of the way our girls rallied together and got the win,” said O’Carroll.
