With junior setter Hansen Streeter running the attack and playing a strong all-around game, San Marcos swept Oak Park 25-18, 25-19, and 25-23 Wednesday in the Thunder Hut in non-league action.

The loss was just Oak Park’s fourth against 15 wins, while the Royals improved to 19-6.

“Hansen set away from the block, fed the middle hitters, effectively blocked and played defense, had four kills and no errors, and was flawless from the service line,” San Marcos coach Roger Kuntz said.

The Royals hit .379 as a team, with all attackers having a good night. Middle hitters Aiden Pazier and Kyle Foley combined for 13 kills, and outside hitters Zack Willbanks and Jack Wilson contributed 18.

“Oak Park is a traditionally strong volleyball program at all three levels and is very well coached,” Kuntz said.
