A Great Horned Owl perches high atop a cottonwood tree outside Denver, with a light glow from the setting sun providing enough illumination of this large raptor. Shot with my Canon 60D, 70-300mm lens at 300mm, 3200 ISO, 1/13th second, f/5.6 (image stabilization worked well!)
