Two people were injured Sunday night after a head-on collision on Highway 135 in the Santa Maria Valley.
At approximately 9 p.m., members of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, California Highway Patrol and American Medical Response were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of Highway 135 and Union Valley Parkway, Capt. Scott Safechuck said.
A woman in one vehicle and a male in the other were transported by AMR ambulances to Marian Regional Regional Medical Center, Safechuck said.
The lone occupants in each vehicle had minor to moderate injuries, according to emergency dispatch reports.
California Highway Patrol officers from the Santa Maria area were investigating the crash.
The road was closed for a short time Sunday night while personnel cleaned up debris from the crash, Safechuck said.
