For the second year in a row, the American Hellenic Educational Association will present a holiday concert, 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at Saint Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 1205 San Antonio Creek Road.

Performing will be Opera Santa Barbara artistic and general director Kostis Protopapas; acclaimed soprano Anastasia Malliaras; and San Marcos High School’s award-winning Madrigals singers under the direction of Eleni Pantages.

The program will include traditional songs and carols of the season, as well as selected hymns from the Byzantine Christmas liturgy.
