Community members are invited to participate in the 17th annual Brice Fabing Memorial Bike and Helmet Drive, during which new bicycles and helmets are gathered for the needy in Lompoc.
The bike drive, held in memory of Brice Fabing, has been distributing brand new bicycles to needy children in the Lompoc community since 2006, bringing smiles to the faces of local kids during the holiday season
The bicycles will be distributed through area nonprofit agencies.
To donate, drop off a new bike or helmet at 1341 Marigold Way, in Glen Ellen, Dec. 1-15. Call for a drop-off time at 805-735-6350; or send donations to Brice Fabing Memorial Bikes 4 kids @ Coast Hills Credit Union; or Venmo to @Dorine-Fabing.
Also contributing to the purchase of bikes will be a garage sale fundraiser, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov 17-19 at 1341 Marigold Way, Lompoc. Rain dates: Dec. 1-3.
