
Expecting the event to become a local holiday tradition, the Santa Ynez Valley Botanic Garden (SYVBG) will host the first Enchanted Garden Holiday Lights Festival, an immersive light experience, at River View Park in Buellton. The event will help to support local native plants and wildlife.
The Enchanted Garden Holiday Lights Festival is scheduled for 5:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children ages 3-12 years old and under, children ages two and under ener for free. To by tickets, visit www.EnchantedHolidayLights.com. Tickets include entry into the Enchanted Garden during the purchased time slot.
The highlight of each evening will be the experience of walking through the lights throughout the garden at night. Also included will be a Holiday Marketplace with food, beer and wine, activities such as Christmas carolers, falling snow, and photos with Santa. On Sundays, Dec. 11 and 18, there will be reindeer on site.

The Santa Ynez Valley Botanic Garden, showcases native plants of Santa Barbara County. The garden and is at the west end of River View Park, accessible from Sycamore Drive in Buellton. The garden is open free of charge from sunrise to sunset on 365 days per year.
Founded in 2006, the Botanic Garden has been developed and managed by volunteers of the SYVBG Foundation, an educational nonprofit. Since the beginning the garden has been a place for the community to gather and engage with each other and nature, providing volunteer opportunities, educational workshops and committees and fun and interactive events.
The holiday lights event will help raise awareness of the garden and support future endeavors for improvements, projects and installations, while providing a new local tradition.
